OUR COMMERCIAL DIVISION inspects all types of properties throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, primarily from Santa Rosa to Monterey, including hotels, office buildings, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, apartment buildings, retail shopping centers, and restaurants. Our Due Diligence reports typically include roofing; exteriors, including paving and walking surfaces; structures; electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems; interiors, restrooms; and recommendations for maintenance, repair, and component replacement as needed.
OUR RESIDENTIAL REPORTS exceed the Standards of Practice of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Our home inspection clients are typically buyers or sellers who need a clear understanding of property conditions. Home sellers are increasingly using our services to enable buyers to make informed purchase decisions. A smart seller will review our report with their agent and decide which improvements are best made before the property is put on the market, and which items are best left as disclosure items. A good approach is to obtain a contractor’s bid or estimate to correct any significant defects. Buyers will often make their offer with few or no contingencies when they see that a high quality due diligence inspection report has been provided.
